Williams College Gaius Charles Bolin Dissertation Fellowships

 

Purpose:

The Bolin Fellowships enable at least two graduate students from underrepresented groups to devote the bulk of their time during the academic year to the completion of dissertation work in residence at Williams College.

 

Field of Study:

Natural or behavioral Sciences. 

 

Eligibility:

Applicants must be U.S. citizens from underrepresented groups and must have completed all doctoral work except the dissertation by the end of the current academic year.

 

Award:

The stipend for 2005-2006 is $31,000. The College will also provide health and dental benefits, housing assistance, academic support including office space and computer and library privileges, and an allowance of up to $4,000 for research-related expenses.
