Welcome to Yale! We are delighted that you are planning to visit with us during Visiting Days 2016. This year, our primary Visiting Days event begins between 12 and 4 pm on Thursday, March 10th and wrap up between 5 and 8 pm on Friday, March 11th. For those who cannot attend this early March event, we offer a second, only slightly abbreviated Visiting Days on Thursday, March 31st and Friday, April 1st. The links on this page will help you plan your visit to Yale and organize your activities while you are in New Haven. Guidelines and instructions regarding all travel reservations will be sent by email.
Step One Please review the research interests of our faculty and identify six individuals with whom you would like to interact with during your stay.
Step Two Please complete and submit our visiting day registration form. This form is needed to schedule your accommodations and meetings with faculty and students. This form should be used to register for either events or request a separate visit for those who are unable to make either of these dates.

The schedule for Visiting Days also includes a number of off-campus events to introduce you to current graduate students and life outside the Chemistry Department. These events include:
March 10: An après banquet outing to the GPSCY, a popular graduate student nightspot. Make sure you bring a photo ID if you plan on attending this event. GPSCY Website
March 10: Duck pin bowling is a great choice if you are not interested in the GPSCY but would like to continue your evening after the banquet, our students would love to take you bowling.
March 11: A tour of the Yale Campus. An informative 45 minute bus tour of Yale and New Haven is offered on Friday afternoon, after faculty visits have concluded.
March 11: Dinner at Bru Room at BAR. If you are still in town on Friday evening, please join your host for a casual dinner at New Haven's favorite place for pizza and microbrew. BAR Website
