Welcome to Yale! We are delighted that you are planning to visit with us during Visiting Days 2013, which are scheduled for Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8. The links on this page should help you plan your visit to Yale and organize your activities while you are in New Haven.
Step One Please review the research interests of our faculty and identify seven individuals with whom you would like to interact with during your stay.
Step Two Please complete and submit our visiting day registration form. This form is essential to schedule your accommodations and faculty meetings.
Step Three Please view the event schedule and revised shuttle schedule. A map of the Yale campus is available by clicking here. Due to the weather we added extra shuttles for Thursday. Please see revised schedule.
This year, we are offering a palette of terrific events to introduce you to current graduate students and life outside the Chemistry Department:
March 7: An evening at the GPSCY, Yale's popular graduate student nightspot. Make sure you bring a photo ID if you plan on attending this event. GPSCY Website
March 7: Experience Duck Pin Bowling. If you are not interested in the GPSCY but would like to continue your evening après the banquet, our students would love to take you bowling. They guarantee a good time!
March 8: Yale Campus Tour. An informative 45 minute bus tour of Yale and New Haven is offered in the afternoon, after faculty visits have concluded.
March 8: Bru Room at BAR. Please join your host for a casual dinner at New Haven's favorite place for pizza and microbrew. BAR Website
